In 2024, Kunshan Wandian Trading Co., Ltd. officially launched its strategic expansion into the African market, starting with the establishment of a new warehousing center in Nigeria. The company introduced three core home textile products—Down Duvets, functional pillows, and premium fabrics—delivering a new quality living experience to African consumers through an innovative online-to-offline (O2O) model.
Wandian’s star product, the Down Duvet, is filled with premium Hungarian white goose down. Its unique 3D quilting craftsmanship ensures both loftiness and superior heat retention, making it especially suitable for Africa’s significant day-night temperature variations. Each duvet undergoes rigorous quality control to guarantee optimal down purity and even filling distribution.
Another highlight of this expansion is the functional pillow series. Designed with ergonomic support, the pillows offer a range of firmness options paired with breathable, skin-friendly fabrics to meet diverse sleep needs. Specially developed moisture-resistant technology further enhances durability in Africa’s humid climate.
As a key component of the product line, Wandian’s premium fabrics are crafted from high-quality materials, catering to various needs from bedding to home décor. These fabrics are not only soft to the touch but also highly durable and colorfast, providing African households with versatile choices.
The launch of the Nigeria warehousing center is a pivotal part of this strategy. Localized storage significantly reduces delivery times, ensuring products reach consumers quickly and in perfect condition. Additionally, a partnership with e-commerce platform eGatee has created an innovative "offline experience + online ordering" model, allowing customers to better appreciate product quality firsthand.
